This is a job I interviewed for in late June. Aced that interview in front of a 3 person panel. I did a technical test for it in early August. Then, waited and waited. But hey, as long as I signed into the ATS and found I was still being considered, I had a chance. That ended this morning.

I just feel profoundly hopeless at this time. I was unemployed 4 months last year, took a jobs for which I had not applied but was offered, and that was a disastrous experience which harmed me professionally. Have been unemployed since the beginning of the year. I’ve gone through my savings, my employment insurance, and now I’m on welfare. I’m 55 years old and, well, I don’t think there’s any place left for me in this world,
