Coach crash in France kills 28, injures 40. Ironically the coach was filled with pensioners who had won the trip in a lottery… goes to show that fortune is a flighty mistress.

Looks like big-time cheating pays off after all.

Looks like big-time cheating pays off after all. Famous for nothing else than attempting to cheat a major British TV show, Major Charles Ingram and his wife will be appearing on celebrity TV in the UK. And then they tell you to follow the rules?

Iraq’s most disturbing home video. It seems a little too obvious, but if you can’t trust Reuters for news I’m not sure who you can trust.

I never realized that work would become such a source of bits and pieces to put into this section. Unfortunately I can’t share the vast majority of those because it might be adverse to my making a living. As such most of the time I would have to obfuscate the details to such a degree that any attempt would be an exercise in futility.

That being said, I have a remark about work generally in which I really don’t need to divulge any details as to company or employee, since it’s so universal.

Having given up on the ROI, security and stability issues, Microsoft resorts to paying big customers to use Windows. Some cynical people would call that outright bribery, especially as it seems used mostly with governments. I certainly would never say a thing like that. On the other hand I was already aware that Redmond is practically giving away licenses to big names whom they suspect of being about to switch to Linux, as they offered just that sort of deep discount to Tristan Louis when he started announcing his site’s switch to Red Hat.
