Apparently Yahoo has no policy preventing the disclosure of information to repressive governments for use in political crimes trials. There’s another firm that’ll go to no length to protect its users against persecution and possibly death. More background on the case here. Fuck Yahoo. I will no longer use their services, and would urge anyone else sick of seeing duplicity in the PRC’s political persecutions not to use Yahoo services either.
